Certification

We believe in flexible learning. As such our modular curriculum means you can complete any module, in any order at any time. Each module takes 2 day to complete and consists of an intensive programme.

 

Taught by an experienced PMC instructor you will find our extended Certification courses will increase your PMC knowledge.

These courses are aimed at those wishing to teach or make Jewellery on a professional basis

Duration: 2 days, 10:30am - 5pm including half an hour for lunch. Consumables that we will provide: Moulding Compound Dichroic Glass Cabochon. Fireproof Gemstone. Wood Clay Copper Plated Wire Fine Silver Wire Sandpaper Materials that need to be purchased separately 3 x PMC3 clay16g, 1 pot of PMC3 paste 1/4 PMC+ Sheet What you will be making: Textured pendant with fireproof gemstone. Dichroic pendant. Textured band ring Natural Materials Clasp with hook and eye design Hollow form with wood clay

Duration: 2 days, 10am - 5pm including half an hour for lunch.

Consumables that we will provide:

  • Japanese enamels.
  • Natural gemstone.
  • Fine Silver bezel wire.
  • Sanding papers or cloths.
  • Bisque bead.
  • Pottery shard.
  • Pipe cleaner
  • Polystyrene block.

Materials that need to be purchased separately

  • 1 x PMC3 clay16g,
  • 1 x PMC3 25g
  • 1 pot of PMC paste
  • Gold Paste 

Syringe clay may be uses as part of your design but will not be assessed as part of the course.

What you will be making:

  • Fine Silver piece that can be used to add Japanese enamels
  • One piece that has an area that can be polished to a high shine
  • Ring with bezel setting
  • Decorated bead
  • Ceramic pendant
  • Earring with 22K gold embellishment

 

Duration: 2 days, 10am - 5pm including half an hour for lunch.

Consumables that we will provide:

  • 24K Gold foil.
  • Photopolymer.
  • Liver of sulphur gel.
  • Synthetic paint brush or cottol wool bud, kitchen towel.

Materials that need to be purchased separately

  • 1 x PMC3 clay16g,
  • 1 x PMC3 25g
  • 1 pot of PMC paste
  • 1 x syringe

What you will be making:

  • PMC Chain.
  • Gold decorated, reversible pendant.
  • Syringe drawing
  • Ringe with naural gemstone
  • Stud earrings.
