Taking Baby & Children’s Handprints and Footprints

At SilverImprints, we know how precious those tiny hands and feet are. Our keepsake jewellery is designed to capture their unique prints in silver, so you can carry a moment of childhood close forever.

Whether you’re using our easy print-taking kit or sending us prints you already have, the process is simple and gentle.

Option 1: Using Our Print-Taking Kit

Our kit is safe, clean, and designed with little ones in mind.

  1. Prepare the kit
    • Lay out the special paper and ink wipe provided.
    • Make sure your child’s hand or foot is clean and dry.
  2. Take the print
    • Wipe the hand or foot gently with the ink wipe.
    • Press onto the paper with a firm but gentle touch — little fingers and toes don’t need much pressure.
    • Lift carefully to reveal the print.
  3. Repeat if needed

You can take several prints — we’ll select the clearest one. 


Send Prints to Us

  • Photographs or scans: Take a clear photo or scan of the print.
  • Lighting: Use good light so the lines are visible.
  • File types: JPEG or PNG images are perfect.
  • Send to us: Email your images to silverimprints@icloud (please don't forget to include your order number)

     

    Option 2: Sending Existing Prints

    If you already have prints from birth records, keepsake kits, or even a favourite craft project, we can use those too.

    • File types: JPEG or PNG images are perfect.
    • Send to us: Email your images to silverimprints@icloud.com   or upload them during checkout.
